The ditch company wants to determine the depth of our lakes so that we can calculate the true volume of water. The lakes were built in the 70’s and although we have the original data for capacity, the lakes have silted over and we no longer have a true understanding of what they really hold. The Dam Inspector and a shareholder suggested that we find someone on the ranch that might have a boat with a fish finder and that measures depth as well.
